Japanku respects the rights of creators and owners. Japanku does not host video files: it lists titles and embeds players that third-party sites provide. If you believe a listing on Japanku points to your copyrighted work without permission, you can ask us to remove it.

How to send a notice

Write to our contact address, which has not been published yet and include everything below, so we can act on it quickly:

  • The work you say was infringed, described clearly enough for us to identify it.
  • The address (URL) of the page on Japanku that lists or embeds it.
  • Your name, postal address, email address and phone number.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, the owner or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

When a notice is complete, we remove or disable the listing on Japanku. Removing a listing here does not remove the file from the site that hosts it, so please also contact that host.

Counter-notice

If a listing was removed by mistake, you may reply with your contact details, the address of the removed listing and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal was a mistake. We may restore the listing after reviewing it.

Misuse

Knowingly sending a false notice can have legal consequences. Please send only accurate claims.
